About Me

No matter what reasons brought you here today, I appreciate the opportunity to introduce myself. I am a licensed marriage and family therapist with extensive experience working with individuals and families from diverse cultural and social backgrounds. Some of my assistance included helping clients improve their relationships, develop strategies to cope with life crises and stressors, regain self-confidence, and retain mental wellness.

I believe therapy is the beginning of a transformative journey of personal growth and healing. Therefore, it is my privilege to participate in such a courageous and personal process. I view my clients as experts of their lives who can best determine what to achieve in therapy. My role is to help guide and empower each individual to attain such goals through a collaborative and trusting relationship while providing support to overcome barriers and struggles during the process. My hope is to provide the space for clients to gain awareness of factors impacting their abilities to thrive and effect change leading to desired transformations.

In working with my clients, I also like to explore their personal history including relationships with attachment figures that contribute to who they are today. I highly value the therapeutic relationship and take an eclectic and multi-culturally sensitive approach in treatment that tailors to individual needs.
